      First of all, let me briefly explain what I meant by those two terms...

      scdf as a career: meaning any male or female joining SCDF at anytime, be it after ns(for males) or females after graduation from education(JC, ITE, poly)

      scdf in army: Guys who are posted to CD for the 2years of ns.

      besides the regular training..etc. is there any other difference? Timing wise...salary/allowance...etc...

      no diff in terms of training. guys posted to CD might not get a chance to get involved in ops like firefighting or rescue. so dey wun be posted to ERS or BOC to train wif de regulars. regulars will definitely get to do firefighting or rescue and dey will definitely be posted out to fire stations upon completion of their respective courses. as for salary and allowance, regulars will naturally be earning more den NSFs even during de period of training.

      scdf in NS. 27th BOC

      scdf as career. 39th BOC commissioning soon.

      scdf as nsf is great. scdf as career choice, it's only good if you already have degree and above.
